Our team
"A Heart Felt moment created an initiative to bring happiness to people less fortunate than us living with a disability. We believe that we can help them build on their self-esteem, their mental and physical wellbeing, worry less, have fun and achieve satisfaction and ultimately happiness.”
It was in 2019 when I was managing a team at Thrive in Yarrabah & there were a lot of changes to my workplace at the time & with potential impacts to cease of services & staff & clients.
Having worked & lived in Yarrabah for some time over the years & knowing the lack of services & knowledge to the NDIS it was a concern but also a motivation to keep doing what I was doing with the people I loved to work with & support. During the 4-5 years that I have been doing, I have learnt so much, met beautiful people, establishing great support workers & growing the business with now expanding to a company in 2024.
Due to lack of consistency & also continuity of support in communities, I was motivated by this & wanted to really help people in need.

I've worked across health services for the past 10 years including Coordinator of Medical Administrations. It gives me joy that I can come and work in my community bringing my skills, qualifications and experience to my position of Administrations Coordinator at Heartfelt Care.

Laurie Thomas
Support Worker
I work for Heart Felt Care as I like to help people. I've lived & worked in a lot of places over the years & in different roles too, but it's good to be back living & working on country helping my people.
Meagan Noble
Support Worker

Working for Heartfelt Care enables me to work with my own mob which is a plus. I enjoy helping and working with participants, helping them to reach their goals is rewarding. Working with Heartfelt Care is not for everyone but for me being apart of Heartfelt Care team enables me to wear my heart on my sleeve, working in an industry that I am passionate about.

Leon Thomas
Support Worker
I like to work with people with a disability and being there to support them, they really need it. It's a new experience for me to take on and I don't mind doing what I do for other people, its interesting to learn new experiences. Being around the people I work with has an impact, growing up with them on country, so I know who they are.
Jasmine Saunders
Support Worker

"My name is Jasmine Saunders and I am a support worker for Heartfelt Care. I chose to work for this organisation because it gave me the opportunity to support and help people with mental health and disabilities, to give them the potential and capacity to face everyday challenges"
